The hub at wopr.realwopr.ai is the switchboard: while your machine's carrier is up, your number is listed in a world's roster; hang up and the slot opens for the next operator. The worlds are parallel copies of the film's network — a WOPR, a school, an airline, a home — each system a different operator's machine.

The period Lisp Joshua runs on your machine and costs nothing. The LLM flavor calls an API with your own key, so the usage is billed to you, the operator — the node host's guardrails cap it.

HOST SETUP

COPY HOST SETUP gives the exact commands: your .env lines — the logon banner and operator roster, which stay on your machine and are never sent to the hub — and the make host command from a clone of real-wopr-programs that brings your exchange online. The hub assigns your world and slot when your tieline registers; the phone book updates within a minute.
